Great spot for a good quiet short holiday. The beach fishing is phenomenal , many species of fish to caught especially from the 13th track to the beach, but make sure you bring plenty insect repellent spray as the mozzie and the horse flies can be out of control. Caravan park has great facilities and was very quiet.

Such friendly service, we asked for availability pretty much last minute, the owners were so kind and accommodating. Lovely camp area with trees and views. Bathrooms are clean and tidy with running hot water. The only downside was the play park area could be a little bigger and accomodating to all ages. Easter is a busy time and we had a great experience. Thanks again.

Loch Sport Caravan Park is one of those relaxed coastal parks that reminds you why people love coming to places like Gippsland in the first place. The park sits right in the middle of Loch Sport between Lake Victoria and the famous Ninety Mile Beach, so you’re perfectly positioned whether you’re into boating, fishing, beach walks, or just enjoying the quiet coastal lifestyle. What really makes the place though are the owners Simon and Kylie. They’re friendly, approachable and clearly care about the park and their guests. It has that welcoming small-town feel that’s getting harder to find these days. The park itself is well kept and peaceful. It’s an easy walk to the lake foreshore and only a couple minutes drive to Ninety Mile Beach. I’m a Google Local Guide, and during our visit I actually created and published a Google Street View tour of the park so future visitors can explore the layout before arriving. Hopefully that helps people get a feel for the place ahead of time. Loch Sport itself is a bit of a hidden gem — abundant wildlife, beautiful lake views, endless beaches, and a laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect if you want to slow down and enjoy nature. If you’re travelling through the Gippsland Lakes region, Loch Sport Caravan Park is definitely worth stopping at.

To say I am grateful for the customer service and kind-hearted support I experienced from Simon and Kylie is a massive understatement! A no-fuss late check in after the reception was closed- had hiked from Seaspray 4 days prior, no water left and a knee injury. Friendly chats and enjoyed relaxing in Loch Sport so much that we decided to stay for a 2nd night. An extreme wind picked up and the tent decided to go walkabout. Corralling our belongings we bunkered in the kitchen area. Simon popped in to check on us and gave us a free upgrade to a lovley caravan annex. Since the power was off for the afternoon due to the crazy winds, Kylie dropped be to offer us some potatoes and foil to cook in the fire. Although we had a gas stove this was greatly appreciated. They have gone above and beyond any expectations I define as hospitality and I wish Simon and Kylie and their team the very best with their future. Much gratitude and kind regards- -Keith

Very quiet when we visited which meant that it was a great place to stay for 3 nights. Quite a lot of permanent vans but mostly empty. Seemed like there was some effort just starting to upgrade the campground and facilities. A few mozzies around (early December) but would guess that there would be more at nearby bush camps.
